Fellows of Cohort 25 Present the Products of their Studies

Upon reaching the end of their studies, the fellows of Cohort 25 of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership presented the final products of their learning journey

The fellows of Cohort 25 of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership presented their personal projects to their colleagues, the tutors and faculty members who have accompanied them throughout their studies, and other experts from the field of education, at a two-day event that was attended by Professor Jehuda Reinharz, president of the Mandel Foundation, and Moshe Vigdor, director general of the Mandel Foundation–Israel.

In their personal projects, fellows express their aspirations to implement a significant educational undertaking that seeks to improve education in Israel. The documents produced by the fellows are based on a vision that is informed by a clearly articulated worldview and system of values, and are the result of in-depth study of the theoretical and practical aspects of the chosen field of action and the translation of these elements into a realistic plan for implementation.

“This morning, we begin two days that offer a kind of tasting menu of the delicacies that the fellows of Cohort 25 have been developing here over the last two years. It is our hope that these are dishes that will nourish, enrich, and sustain Israeli society,” said Danny Bar Giora, director of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership. “I am convinced that the provisions you take with you from the program will be of use to you wherever you go and in whatever positions you fill.  The question, ‘To what extent have I succeeded in realizing my dream?’ is one that I recommend you try answering in five or ten years' time.”
